Daily Prayer For May 18, 2022

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We are grateful for your strength and grace that sustains us. We are thankful nothing surprises you, and you are the same on-time God you have always been. We are grateful your plans are still unfolding, and the schemes of the evil one can not stop what you ordain. Please help us remember you are the ultimate Promise Keeper…what you decree shall come to pass…delays are not denials but always serve a purpose. At the appointed time, you open doors no man can close and close doors no man can open.
As we face challenges personally and on a national and global level, help us remember the many times things looked hopeless for your children. Standing at the edge of the Red Sea, no one could have imagined you would part the water and make a way through. Daniel couldn’t have imagined you would shut the mouths of the lions. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego could not have imagined surviving the fiery furnace. The apostles couldn’t have imagined you shaking open prison doors.
You often bring us to a place where we need a miracle to remind us you are The Mighty One Who Saves. You often wait until the last possible moment to answer our prayers and deliver us to teach us to put our faith and trust in you and not ourselves or others. Please help us remember you are the same miracle-working God you have always been, and your promises are the same yesterday, today, and forever. We are thankful the word impossible does not exist for you.
You tell us to remember your past deeds, the prayers you have answered, the times you have delivered and saved us, the hard times you have seen us through, and the times you have been faithful. We look to you today, Father, and know you are the answer to every prayer and every need, and you have not brought us this far to abandon us now. We are grateful for your Word that tells us we don’t need to be anxious, worried, or afraid, and you will care for us all of our days.
Thank you, Father, for all you do, all you are, and all that is to come. More than ever, we are grateful this world is not our home, and far better things lie ahead. We don’t know what the future holds, but we know you hold us, and all that is to come in your hands. Please help us be at rest and peace as we look to you today. In the precious name of our Savior and Messiah, Jesus, we pray. Amen
Blessings be upon you, friends!
