Daily Prayer For May 10, 2022

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for allowing us to see this new day. We know today is a gift…we will never get these moments or hours back…we are not promised we will see tomorrow. Please help us live and love well. Help us make the minutes count. Please help us not just trudge through our days. Even when we are grieving, ill, or dealing with difficulties, please help us rise above everything mentally, emotionally, and spiritually so we serve you well. Please help us have your heart and mind, keep us sensitive to your Spirit, and in the center of your will.

The days and years go by so fast, and we look back and often wonder what we have to show for the time that has passed. We know different seasons are needed for our growth and well-being, but please help us, so we’re not just in survival mode all the time. Help us see the beauty that surrounds us…help us know your joy amid hard days and enjoy the gifts of fellowship, love, and laughter with the people you’ve placed in our lives. Please help us live an abundant spiritual life that overflows with your peace and a sense of contentment…please help us worship in your presence and be filled with the fruit of the Spirit so we can rejoice that you are good, even when things aren’t good.

We know our enemy loves to distract us and keep us busy putting out fires and dealing with crises, so we don’t have time to do the things you call us to do. Please help us get passed anything that tries to keep us from growing in our faith…that keeps us from the purpose and plans you have for us.

You know these are trying times we are facing. It feels like we are being bombarded on all sides…there are new things that crop up daily that cause concern. Please help us trust everything that impacts us to your hands. Help us trust we are where we are supposed to be, and you will lead, guide, and provide what is best for us, so we have no need to worry or be anxious. Please give us the physical stamina we need to deal with all that is before us and order our days, so we make the best use our time, health, and all you’ve entrusted to us. Help us not to waste our days waiting for better ones to come. Please help us bloom where we are planted and learn to dance in the rain. Help us celebrate each day as a gift and look forward with hope for all to come. In the name of our Savior and Messiah, Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
