Daily Prayer For April 8, 2023
Sat Apr 08, 2023 9:50 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we continue to reflect on Christ’s death and resurrection this weekend, may we gain new insights and learn new spiritual truths. May we see things with fresh eyes, an open heart, and a renewed sense of hope and purpose. We pray that just as Jesus rose from the grave and discarded the wrappings that bound Him, we will rise up and throw off the things that hinder us and hold us back.
Please help all who find themselves in hard places to remember how hopeless things looked for the disciples after Jesus died. If you can bring new life, new meaning, new callings, new possibilities, renewed hope, restoration, and salvation from that hopeless looking situation, you can easily redeem all the enemy meant for harm in our lives. We may not see how…we may not see a way…but what is unknown to us is known to you. All it takes is one moment…one prayer…one little thing to fall into place…and in one instant everything can change for the better. We are grateful you are the healer of broken hearts and broken dreams, and you aren’t through working yet.
We are grateful you are still the same miracle-working God you have always been. We are thankful you promise to work ALL things together for the good of those who love you. We are grateful you are the author and creator of comeback stories that defy all odds. Christ’s death and resurrection remind us of how invested you are in us, how much you love us, and how nothing is impossible for you.
We cling to your promise that because of all Jesus sacrificed for us, there is coming a day when we will trade the corruptible things of this life for the incorruptible…that one day we will be forever free from sin, evil, pain, sorrow, illness, injuries, disabilities, financial struggles, anxiety, fear, worry, loss, death, and tears…that one day we will see you face to face and know the fullness of your love, joy, and peace. We are grateful for all you made possible for us, and look forward to all you will do as we commit all that concerns us to your hands. We give you all glory, praise, and honor, along with our gratitude. Thank you for our wonderful Savior, Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.
May you have a blessed, peaceful and joy-filled weekend, friends!
