Daily Prayer For January 13, 2016
Sat Jan 16, 2016 11:55 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
There are so many things that threaten us and try to steal our peace and our joy… for everyone who is anxious, fearful, heavy-hearted, ill or grief-stricken… we ask for you to meet them today and lead them beside your still flowing waters that lead to peace and life. May your joy…the joy of their salvation, bubble to the surface… no matter what is going on today…may your joy be their strength…may they find that place of letting go that unleashes your supernatural peace… that defies human logic and does not fear, but trusts you no matter what their circumstances.
Lord, please clean out our wounds and help us heal…please shine your light in the dark places of our lives and bring healing and hope. For all who have been hurt by the church or other Christians, especially…please speak to their hearts and pain…help them to overcome the things that have been said about them and done to them and may they find peace and comfort in your arms…may they be driven to you instead of turning away…help us to remember that you are not to blame for the actions of others…you grieve and hurt when we have been hurt…help us to forgive so we can have peace…help us to let go of our pain and hurts and we ask for you to bind our wounds … please surround us with people who truly love you. May we be reminded that no one is perfect…we all have flaws and are in need of a Savior. Please protect us, Father…help us to be wise and discerning… help us to love with your love, see with your eyes and extend grace and mercy even as you extend the same to us. May our actions please you and glorify you …we can’t change others. We can’t make anyone do the right things…we are only responsible for our actions and how we choose to respond to what is said and done to us. Help us to grow in your knowledge and grace.
Lord, we lift our hurting brothers and sisters and their loved ones, and our own friends and family to you and we ask, no matter where they are at, please rain down your grace and your peace so it bubbles up inside them and flows freely until their cups overflow with your joy and peace. Your Word says the faithful fervent prayers of a righteous man does much and where two or more are gathered in your name, you are in the midst… so we come to your throne of grace and we ask for you to make yourself so real and undeniably present that those in need will know that they have been touched by your hand. Father, please do what only you can do and we give you praise, glory and honor, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen
Blessings be upon you in His name!
