Daily Prayer For January 5, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
We lift up to you all who are hurting, physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and financially. We ask Lord for you to touch each person and meet each need as only you can…. if there is anything in our lives that would hinder our prayers, we ask that you would show us and speak to us and convict us so we might confess and repent and be clean before you…Lord, we ask that you would help us to hear your voice in this moment…we ask that you would meet us at the place of our greatest need…whether it be comfort, peace or the money to pay a bill. Lord, we ask in faith, without doubting that you are able to do above what we can think, dream or imagine. If we are asking for something that is not the best for us, then we pray for your grace to wait for the better thing…help us to have big faith that has no fear…help us to pray and want your will to be done and not our own…
Lord, may your strength rise up in us today… may we say with confidence when things are overwhelming, “I can’t do this, but my God can and greater is He who is in me, than he who is in the world.” Father, fill us with radical hope…hope that shines through the darkness and believes with complete confidence that you are in control and have our best interests at heart. Lead us and guide us and help us to navigate through the unchartered waters we find ourselves in…help us to find rest and peace in the valleys because you are with us and we have your rod and staff to comfort us. We pray to rise above our circumstances. Lord, so many are facing what seem like impossible situations…they have been in the valley for so long…they are weary, Lord…please show them signs that you are there in the hard places and that you have not forgotten them…we know that you never leave or forsake your children, but we are human and when situations drag on, the enemy seeks to discourage us and make us lose hope…speak to our hearts, Lord and help us to persevere with confidence, renewed hope and strength.
Father, we lift our day to you. We ask for your favor and mercy to be upon us and our families. May we serve you well and glorify you in all that we say and do. In the name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen.
