Daily Prayer For March 31, 2023
Fri Mar 31, 2023 9:48 pm
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word says your eyes search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to you. What an encouragement that is for all who are feeling weak and weary today. We are grateful for your hope-filled promises that we can cling to. We are thankful your eyes are always upon us…that you never slumber or sleep…that you are always the watchful, protective parent who anticipates the needs of his children.
Abba, we are thankful you are watching over us as our enemy prowls around, seeking who and what he can destroy. We need your strength physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually…but our most urgent need is to be strong in spirit.
Please give us a hunger for your Word so we find the stability, courage, and strength we need to fight back against the lies and attacks of the evil one. You tell us to meditate on your Word night and day. Please, Holy Spirit, prompt us before our feet hit the floor each morning to suit up with the armor and all you’ve equipped us with to be victorious. Help us learn to be diligent and disciplined in this regard. We know many battles are in front of us, but we trust you will give us what we need to keep pressing on. We are grateful you go before us and stand beside us…that you are greater than all we face, and your power, strength, and might course through us…that you are not afraid…that you do not get overwhelmed, and that you do not fail. Help us engrain these truths in our hearts. Help us remember it doesn’t matter if the tides change, the sands shift, or things crumble around us. We are safe. We are secure. We are fortified. We are surrounded by angel armies, and we are held by you.
Your Word says as a man thinks, so he is. Help us stand firm on your truth and promises and not fear what is happening around us or what the future may hold. We are grateful, Father, that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Thank you for empowering us with your truth, grace, strength, and resurrection power. In the name of our beloved Savior, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
May His peace and Word comfort you today, friends!
