Daily Prayer For March 14, 2023
Wed Mar 15, 2023 9:33 am
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
As this day winds down, we ask you to help us set aside the stress and cares of the day. We know that going to bed thinking about things we have to be grateful for improves our sleep and our outlook when we arise. So, we want to take this time to thank you for our blessings…thank you for the big things and all the small things you have blessed us with. We want you to know we are grateful for every breath we take, the clean water we have, the food we eat, and the roof over our heads…
We are thankful, Father, for the people you’ve given us who love, care, and pray for us…thank you for the fellowship and bond you’ve given us with our brothers and sisters in Christ and the sweet communion we share with you. Thank you for making us your family. Thank you for giving us your Word to guide, instruct, encourage, and give us hope. We are so grateful, Abba, for all you’ve seen us through. Looking back on our lives, we know we have only gotten through our struggles and trials with your help, grace, and strength. Thank you for leading us through the things we didn’t think we could survive…thank you for healing our hurts and restoring things that once seemed broken beyond repair. We are thankful for the miracles you do in us when we yield our hearts and lives to you.
Thank you for Jesus, who sacrificed so much to save us. Thank you for clothing us in His righteousness…for redeeming our mistakes, pain, trials, and tragedies and working them together for our good and your glory. We are grateful, Father, that though we grieve, we grieve with hope..that we can take comfort knowing those we have loved who have gone before us are a bigger part of our future than our past…that we will be together again one day and will never have to say goodbye again when we are all united with you. Thank you for all that is to come and all Jesus has gone to prepare for us. Thank you for the complete healing that is coming and the promise that sin, illness, suffering, evil, and death will be vanquished once and for all, and we will be with you forever.
Oh, Father, “thank you” seems so inadequate, but we are eternally grateful for all you’ve done and continue to do for us. Thank you for calling us your own and showing how much you love and care for us daily. We are grateful we can sleep peacefully tonight because you are awake, and all is well. We offer this prayer with gratitude and love in the name of our Savior, Jesus. Amen.
May you have a peaceful and blessed evening, friends!
