Daily Prayer For March 23, 2023
Mon Mar 27, 2023 8:47 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the blessing of another day. We are grateful you give grace sufficient for each day…that your grace sees us through trauma, loss, trials, illness, times of lack, and times of plenty. We are thankful your grace is enough to get us through everything we face…that your grace helps us know your power and allows us to stand strong before our enemies…
Father, help us open our hearts and our hurts to you…help us expose to you those raw, hidden places that we are afraid to let anyone see or know about…the areas that we try to forget but can’t. Please give us the courage to face our fears and all the things that have become such a part of us we don’t know who we would be without them. Please help us find healing through your grace…your amazing grace that saves…your grace that gives new vision…your grace that allows us to see through your eyes…that enables us to see old hurts in new ways…vision that helps us to see past all that we’ve endured, all that we’ve regretted, all that we failed at…all that we were never able to achieve… all that we have never been able to let go of. Please help us find the freedom and strength your grace provides. We were lost, but now we’re found…we were blind, but now we see. May those not be just lovely words we sing, but may those words become real to us in ways we’ve never known.
Abba, please help us not to lose another night of sleep from mourning the past or being filled with shame or regrets. Please help us learn from the past, not be prisoners to it. Please help us live each day as though it could be our last…help us do all the things we need to do…all the things we’ve put off…all the things that will help us move forward so we can make the most of our days. We are so grateful your grace will empower, sustain and carry us until you lead us home. Thank you for your wonder-working power in our lives. Thank you for all you do to help us, carry us, and see through. Thank you most of all for our Savior, Jesus, who makes all things possible and new. It’s in His name we ask these things. Amen.
Praying blessings over you, friends!
