Daily Prayer For March 11, 2023

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Lord,
Each day brings with it challenges and choices. Some are seemingly insignificant, and others are life-altering. We ask that you grant us your wisdom and discernment when we are called to make tough decisions. Please guide us, and help us hear your voice, so we stay in the center of your will. Please remind us to take our time and respond thoughtfully and prayerfully instead of reacting impulsively or out of anger. May we be ruled by your Spirit and not our emotions or feelings.
Sometimes, people don’t understand our choices, decisions, or actions…they don’t know what we are dealing with behind closed doors, yet they are quick to have an opinion or judgment. Please help us care more about what you think than what others think about us. Help us learn to be okay with the fact that you know the truth of every situation, even when others don’t. There are many times when we are called to do what is right, but it is not popular. Give us your strength and courage during those difficult times. Help us remember you only call us to love people, not to be people pleasers. Please help us not take to heart any guilt or shame the enemy tries to place on us. Help us be wise and kind with our words to others and ourselves. Please help us to not react in anger or out of pride and to be meek and humble.
We love you, Lord. We thank you for your patience and your faithfulness to us. We want to please you and represent you well. We are not where we want to be, but we are grateful that we are not where we once were. Thank you for all you do to help us grow and mature spiritually. We give you all praise, glory, and honor and thank you that we can ask these things in the name of our Savior, Jesus. Amen.
