Daily Prayer For March 3, 2023
Tue Mar 07, 2023 3:43 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we come before you today, we give you thanks and praise your name. We are told that whatever we do, in word or deed, we should do it in the name of Jesus and give thanks to you through Him. We are told to give thanks to you because you are good, your love is eternal, and you are faithful. We are to never stop giving thanks. We are to overflow with gratitude.
Please help us remember it is a witness to others when we praise you through our hard times and struggles. When people see us filled with peace, instead of fear or worry, they want to know the source of our peace. Help us point the way to you and represent you well. Life is hard, even with your help. We can’t imagine navigating through this life without you, yet so many are doing just that. So many don’t know you as their Lord and Savior. They don’t know the peace you offer…the strength and comfort you give…the healing, hope, salvation, and redemption that’s available through Jesus.
Father, you know there are so many whose lives are full of chaos and turmoil. You see all who are dealing with acts of nature, disasters, and their aftermath. You see all who live in war-torn areas…all who are oppressed. You know every person in harm’s way and all who are dealing with grief and losses. We stand in the gap now and pray that people will find you amid arduous circumstances. May people in need see your light shining like a beacon in the darkness. Please pour out your Spirit, grace, and mercy upon those crying out to you for help. Please do what we can’t in places where there is evil and persecution…where there is abuse and oppression…where the basics like food, clean water, and shelter are a luxury…where having the freedom to worship you, read your Word, and speak your name are punishable by torture and death.
We call out to you, our Mighty God and King, and ask you to move among those searching for hope and wondering if you are real. May people see you move mountains and perform miracles on their behalf. We know you are able, faithful, and mighty to save. We bow before you with humble hearts, and we thank you and praise you for all you will do on behalf of all who are searching for you this day. We live in expectation of seeing your goodness in the land of the living and thank you for our Savior Jesus, who makes all things possible and in whose name we pray. Amen.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you, friends!
