Daily Prayer For January 27, 2023
Thu Feb 02, 2023 11:21 am
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Every day, all around the world, people are dealing with every form of tragedy and loss. Long after others have forgotten what has happened, people are left trying to cope, survive and recover from natural disasters, wars, catastrophes, and losses. You tell us to pray for one another and grieve with those who grieve. We ask for your comfort, help, and divine intervention for all who are dealing with the aftermath of acts of nature, evil, illness, tragedies, and losses.
Moving forward after a loss of any kind is not easy. So much we deal with in life doesn’t have quick fixes. The only way to get through grief is to go through it, which can be a very long, lonely journey. The process of rebuilding a life after just one loss can be daunting…it’s even more so when dealing with multiple areas of loss at once.
Thank you for your loving care for us and for your promises that we are never alone, forgotten, or abandoned by you. We are grateful you understand when others don’t…that you remain after others have turned away or moved on. We are thankful that our burdens, pain, and grief are not too much for you to bear or carry.
Thank you for the hope you give us. You say we are crushed but not destroyed…that you will provide us with the oil of joy for mourning and a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness. You will comfort us and give us gladness for sorrow…that weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning. We are so blessed to know that your promises are true, and they are for each of us. We are grateful that joy is coming…that restoration is coming…that healing, renewal, and new life come after loss when we put our faith and trust in you.
Please bless each one who is praying with us, Father. May your will be done in our lives and on earth as it is in heaven. We give you all glory, praise, and honor. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
May you feel His nearness and comfort today, friends!
