Daily Prayer For June 1, 2022

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for bringing us to the beginning of a new day and month. It’s hard to believe that this year is already half over. Thank you for seeing us through all the challenges we have faced. We pray the last half of this year will be better than the first and that there will be many victories ahead as we humble ourselves before you and seek you and your will.

Help us seek out your hope, joy, and peace amid difficult days. Please continue to help us guard and protect our minds and hearts. Please help us to continue to train our minds, so our first thoughts in the morning and our last thoughts at the end of the day are of you and all that is good, righteous, and things that bring peace. You tell us to enter your presence with thanksgiving and your courts with praise. Please help us get better at doing that consistently. Please help us get better at rejoicing in all things and being content in all things. Please help us get better and better about living with an attitude of gratitude.

Please help us grow in our faith and in your wisdom, knowledge, and grace in the coming month. Please help us have the mind of Christ. Please help us see others as you do. Help us rise above our stressful situations and all the petty stuff that doesn’t matter in the bigger scheme of things.

We thank you and praise you for all you’ve done, all you will do, and all you are. May people see Jesus reflected in all we say and do and be drawn to you. We want to bring glory and honor to your name, Father. We commit this day and month to you and ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
