Daily Prayer For June 19, 2022

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
As we celebrate fathers, we thank you for being such a wonderful Father to us. Thank you for always being there for us. We are so grateful we can count on you for wise counsel, guidance, protection, provision, comfort, encouragement, support, acceptance, and unconditional love. We are so grateful to be your children and heirs to your kingdom.
We thank you for our earthly fathers and the blessing they have been in our lives. Thank you for the special people you placed in our lives who have been there for us and positively impacted our lives. We ask you to bless each of them as they have blessed us.
Please comfort all who are sad today. You see each person who is missing someone. May each person who is grieving feel your strength and comfort today.
Abba, you’re aware some people find it hard to relate to you as a loving Father because of how they were treated by their earthly dads. Please help each one who is in that place to be able to find the healing and perfect love you offer. You know every person who has never had a father or even a father figure in their life. You are the God who sees. You know every long-held hurt…every longing and desire…every broken place within us. You know of every estranged relationship…all the broken homes filled with broken promises…all the prodigals who have yet to come home…all the families dealing with unbearable heartache. We ask for your divine intervention and miracles only you can provide.
We pray for every father who has lost a child or is unable to be with their children. Please touch each hurting heart as only you can today. We pray for the single moms and dads who are parenting by themselves and all the grandparents who are raising their grandkids. We pray for your strength, energy, wisdom, and provision for them. Please bring people to stand beside them and help them with the tangible things that are just so hard for one person to do alone.
We also pray for everyone whose father is ill or dealing with Alzheimer’s or dementia…for those with special needs children…for all who have never heard the words “I love you” or longed for words of blessing and affirmation. Please bless, encourage and comfort each one, not only today but every day.
We are grateful for your promises to be a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows. We are thankful you are near to the broken-hearted, and you bind their wounds. We are grateful we can grieve with hope, and one day we will be with you and our loved ones who have gone before us. We thank you for our blessings and give you the praise, glory, and honor you deserve. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
