Daily Prayer For May 30, 2022
Fri Jun 24, 2022 2:41 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Many men and women have lost their lives through the course of history as they protected their homelands, freedom, and their loved ones…as they made a stand against tyranny, oppression, evil men, and regimes…as they fought for the right for us to worship freely. Thank you for the courageous and brave people you have raised up throughout history who reflect your sacrificial love through selfless and heroic acts.
We ask you today to be with all who are missing loved ones. May each hurting heart feel your nearness, peace, and comfort amid their pain, grief, and loss. We thank you for your promise to comfort those who mourn and be near the brokenhearted. We pray for all who have loved ones in the military and for all who serve. May they find your strength to carry them on hard days and your peace to replace their fears and anxious thoughts. Please bring everyone home safely and put a hedge of protection around all in harm’s way.
We also pray for all veterans and those who serve as they remember and miss their fallen brothers and sisters. We ask for healing, comfort, and provision for all of their needs…emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially. May they receive the treatment, care, respect, and honor they deserve.
The last few years have made us more aware of how easy it is to take our freedoms for granted. May we never forget the high price so many have paid for our freedoms. Please help us live our lives in a way that honors their sacrifices. Help us live with gratitude and appreciation for our many blessings.
We look forward to the day when there will be no more war, pain, tears, being separated from loved ones…no more death. We are thankful there is coming a day when there will be no need to protect anyone from evil or harm ever again. Thank you for all we have to look forward to because of all that Jesus sacrificially did for us. We are thankful we can join together and ask these things in our Savior’s name. Amen.
May your day be blessed, friends!
