Daily Prayer For December 21, 2016
Wed Dec 21, 2016 5:02 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
We pray for all who need are feeling stressed. Please ease their tension…please help things to go smoothly…may they feel your peace …may they find deep, restorative sleep… please help us all to find the place where we can, “let go” and trust you to handle our troubling situations… you handle everything far better than we can…help us to learn how to do our best and be satisfied with that…especially during this busy time of year… please help us to trust you to do what we cannot… Too often we struggle with expecting to be able to do everything… we think we should be able to multi-task and “do it all” and be able to keep the same pace we always did, but it’s not always possible, especially during times of illness, grief and adversity…please remind us when we forget that sometimes you allow things to happen so we will slow down and see things through your eyes…so we will have time to spend with you…so we will stop and hear your voice…help us to learn our lessons well…help us not to be stubborn or defiant about the things you call us to do… help us to be good stewards with our time and our health…help us not to have unreal expectations for ourselves or others. We ask you to order our days… please help us with our schedules and to-do lists..help us keep our priorities straight and find time to take care of ourselves the way we should.
We pray that each of us would find time to read your word and spend time alone with you in prayer. May we be led to the perfect soothing and calming words from you.. We ask for your wisdom and discernment for the answers and understanding we seek. May we gain new strength and your perspective as we enter into your presence and refocus and realign our heart with yours.
Please bless all who are reading this prayer and their loved ones…please bless them physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally and financially. May your favor be upon them and your grace sustain them. We thank you for being our Lord and Savior and our faithful companion. How blessed we are to be yours. With gratitude we thank you in advance for all you will do in us this day. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
Blessings be upon you!
