Daily Prayer For April 5, 2023
Fri Apr 07, 2023 2:38 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
It is never easy to remember all that Jesus went through on our behalf. He who knew no sin…He who was perfect and without blemish took our sins and imperfections upon Himself. Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who is noble and majestic in every way, came humbly into this world and died in a manner meant to strip away any form of worth or value. He who is regal and clothed in righteousness and majesty was stripped of His earthly clothes and put on an invisible cloak of our sin and shame. The world branded Him with lies, and soldiers covered His body with grievous wounds. Our Messiah, who is compassionate, loving, and selfless, suffered at the hands of those who were none of those things. He suffered shame and indignity and hung on a cross, not for anything He did, but for what we did. Christ, our Savior, was ridiculed for not saving Himself. His accusers and mockers had no idea He was offering Himself to save us all. It’s all so much to take in…thank you for all you’ve done and endured for us. You know our hearts…words fail to express the depths of our gratitude, but you know how much we love you and appreciate all you’ve done. We are so grateful we will have all eternity to thank you, sing your praises and give you the glory and honor you deserve.
Father, the world is full of darkness, but what a change we would see if all believers boldly let the Light of Jesus shine brightly within us. Please forgive us of our sins and uproot anything we’ve allowed into our lives that isn’t pleasing to you. Please use these remembrances of all Jesus did for us to help change us to be more like Him. May remembering all Jesus did for us motivate us to live, love, and serve you well.
With humble, grateful hearts, we thank you for your grace and mercy. Thank you for paying a price we could never pay and claiming us as your own. Thank you for all you have sacrificed to redeem and save us. Thank you for the privilege of being called your children and for the gift of being able to pray in the name of our Savior, Jesus. Amen.
May your heart overflow with His love, hope, and peace, friends!
