Daily Prayer For April 1, 2023
Tue Apr 04, 2023 9:21 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we gather to pray today, we lift to you all who have been impacted by the dozens and dozens of tornados that have ravaged entire towns across multiple states. It’s hard to imagine the devastation and heartache many are waking up to.
Father, you know the weather reports say these storms are moving on to other states, and rain is expected in many places decimated by tornadoes. We ask you to please calm the winds and make the expected storms dissipate…we ask for your divine intervention. We humbly ask on behalf of those in harm’s way that you would do what only you can do.
Abba, please comfort all who have lost loved ones…all who have lost their homes, cars, possessions, businesses, and livelihoods. We ask for your healing hand to be on all who are injured, and please guide the rescuers to all who are missing. Please give your supernatural strength, energy, and stamina to the first responders, emergency crews, volunteers, medical personnel, and all who are working tirelessly to help everyone in need…there are so many needs, Abba….you know…you see…we’re grateful that you are there comforting those who mourn…collecting their tears…being that ever-present source of help in times of trouble that you promise to be. Please rain down your grace and peace like rain on all who are anxious, worried, afraid, and overwhelmed. Please restore, renew, and redeem all the enemy has stolen.
It’s times like these we realize how much we take for granted…we remember how quickly life can change…but it’s also times like these when people come together to help each other…people set aside their differences and unite to help each other…oh, we pray that you’ll use all of these tragedies to bring people closer to you and to each other. We know our world has lost its way…so many no longer value life or seem to even grasp the concept of loving your neighbor as yourself…but we pray that many will come to a saving knowledge of who you are amid the pain and suffering of these disasters…we pray they will find hope in you and new life in Christ.
This month as we prepare to remember all Jesus did for us, help us live, love, and serve you well. We have so much to be thankful for…so much to celebrate…so many blessings that are ours because we are yours. Please move among us, Father, in a powerful way as we commit this day and month into your hands. We ask these things in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus. Amen.
May the Lord bless you, keep you and fill you with His peace!
