Daily Prayer For April 9, 2023

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

What amazing things we celebrate today…your resurrection and victory over sin and death. You are alive!! You are not the great “I Was” but the great “I am,” The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and End. You are The One whose birth and death fulfilled prophecies that declared the truth of who you are…our Promised Messiah, King, and The One True Living God.

Because of you, we have hope…we have a glorious future…we never walk alone…we are saved, forgiven, redeemed, and restored by your precious blood. By your stripes, we are healed. When your name is mentioned, evil must flee. You are the answer to every question and every need. You are the Prince of Peace, The Way, The Truth, and Life. You are The One who is well acquainted with sorrow and grief and comforts us in all our afflictions. You are The Giver of Life, Our Advocate, The Bright and Morning Star, and Emmanuel, God, who is with us. Because you live, we can face this day and all of our tomorrows with courage and your resurrection power within us…victory is ours because we are yours. We praise you, our mighty Redeemer.

May the fact that you are alive and with us overshadow every earthly care, not just today but every day until you call us home. You are the constant we cling to amid an ever-changing world. You are the solid rock on which we stand. No matter what changes are thrust upon us or what things are stripped away, the most important things remain the same…you defeated death, and whoever believes in you shall not perish but have everlasting life.

We thank you again for all you sacrificed on our behalf, for saving us, and for claiming us as your own. Thank you for forgiving us, cleansing us, and doing for us what we could not do for ourselves. With hearts filled with joy and gratitude, we give you praise, glory, and honor. We pray that many will come to know you as Lord and Savior as they hear the good news of the gospel today. We love you, Lord. We lift our hands in worship and surrender to you and thank you that we have a Risen Savior in whose name we pray. Amen.
