Daily Prayer For September 13, 2016
Tue Sep 13, 2016 10:08 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
For all who have prayed faithfully for others and have yet to see their prayers answered, we ask for comfort and assurance that you do hear their prayers. Many wonder if they use the wrong words or if you just don’t hear their prayers…but you assure us that you hear every prayer, no matter how simple or short. It’s not the words that matter…it’s the intent of the heart … and you hear the prayers that are no more than a groan, as the Holy Spirit intercedes when the words just won’t come. Help each of us to realize that prayer is about surrendering to your will. It’s letting go of our expectations and desires and praying, “not my will, but Thy will be done.” Help us to trust in your timing and believe that you know what is needed and what is best in each life and situation we lift up to you. Help us learn how to be diligent and steadfast. Some battles are won on our knees and the battle may be long. Help us to have tenacious, persistent faith…
Lord, help each of us to trust you with our circumstances, our needs and with those we love…help us to remember that all things work together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose and that includes everything we are going through and dealing with now.
Lord, we give you our worry, anxiety and fear and we trust the outcome of everything we are praying for to you. We want you to decide the outcome that is best for each of our situations. We give you all of our cares, problems and pain and lay it all at your feet…these things are all in your hands now and we surrender to your will Lord, knowing that you want only the best for us and you do all things well. We trust you Lord and we pray that we all will truly feel your peace, as we let go of our expectations and the things we can’t control and wait on you. We love you Lord. We praise you. We ask these things in Jesus’ Holy name, Amen.
Blessings be upon you all!
