Daily Prayer For September 12, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We ask for your blessing to be upon all who read this…there are many who are dealing with terminal or long-term illnesses and they are discouraged, frightened and in pain… please ease their suffering. Help them to not be overcome with feelings of hopelessness and despair… please be so real and so present Lord, that their vision of you overpowers anything before them.

We pray for those who are struggling financially… please meet their needs and lift their heavy burdens. You are still the God of miracles and the loving Father that provides…may they be encouraged today and filled with trust that you are in control, you see the needs and your promises are true.

For those who are having difficulties in relationships, please be their mediator and counselor. Please soften any hardened hearts…open blind eyes and show your truth. Please bring your peace into their lives…help them to see each other with your eyes and to love each other with your love. Please bring healing, forgiveness and restoration.

For those who have to be away from their loved ones for whatever reason… please give comfort for the longing and ache in their hearts … there are so many reasons to be separated… and depending on the reason, there are different needs….but you know all and see all, Lord and we ask that you will reunite and restore and be their strength on the hard days.

For the single, divorced and widowed who long for a companion…for those who long to love and be loved, we ask if it is your will, that you will prepare them as they wait. Please bring the right person at the right time and may they know beyond a shadow of a doubt, who the right person is for them. May the lonely not rush ahead of you and try to make things happen or settle for less than your best…may they find contentment in you while they wait.

Where there is emptiness due to loss, Father, in Jesus’ name, we ask that your loving comfort would fill their hearts … we ask you to pour out your peace and hope and bring healing…lead them through the darkness until they see the light breaking through… may they cling to your promises and believe that you will heal and restore their joy.

Help us to be patient in affliction and know that you are working in the midst of all we go through. We thank you and praise you Lord for your grace, mercy and provision. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
