Daily Prayer For October 19, 2015
Mon Oct 19, 2015 7:54 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…I once again offer my sincere apologies, for not being able to post any prayers the last week… last week was a rough one for me… I’m not going to try to make up the week of prayers, but will start fresh with this week and prayerfully will be able to keep up to date. As always, I thank you for your patience and understanding and for sticking with me through thick and thin. I do continually pray for you and ask the Lord to bless you and meet your every need!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for another new day and week. Father, please have your way in our lives..help each of us to feel your nearness…we ask in the name of Jesus for you to bind the enemy and send your angels to be a hedge of protection about us and our loved ones..Father, please help everyone to see past their circumstances…help us to remember your Word and the examples and teachings that show your grace is sufficient…that you offer living water that bubbles up inside us to give us joy that can’t be quenched…help us to experience the fulness of your joy…help us to let go of our expectations of how we think things and life should be…help us to be single-minded in our pursuit of serving and being like Jesus…
Lord, you know many here are dealing with unrelenting struggles, pain and heartache. You see each one who is dealing with health issues that are going to bring them face to face with you very soon…may each person who is dealing with illness feel your peace…help them not to be afraid… we ask for you to ease their pain and discomfort… please help them not to suffer …please pour out your mercy and grace and bring comfort to their hearts and bodies and comfort all who love them…saying goodbye is never easy, even with the promise and hope of being together again in heaven… Father, for everyone who is preparing to say goodbye…for everyone who has lost someone and is grieving…for everyone who is dealing with health issues themselves and for those who are watching their loved ones fading or struggling…please meet each need… we ask for you to send ministering angels…we ask that none of our loved ones would perish without knowing you…where there is doubt, fear and worry about their loved one’s salvation, we ask for you to make it abundantly clear so they might find peace and comfort…Lord, open doors, soften hearts, give opportunities as only you can…
Lord, please go before us this week. May our hearts be one with yours. May our minds filter out any negative, self-defeating, or destructive thoughts. Help us to keep our hearts and minds centered on you…give us our daily bread…forgive us our sins and help us to forgive those who have sinned against us…help us to keep our hearts and thoughts pure…deliver us from evil…help us to seize each day and make the most of it…help us to love well…to be a light in the dark…to be filled with your Holy Spirit and to grow in your knowledge and grace this week. Help us to worry less and trust more…to fear less and be more faith filled…help us to be open to your leading and to lay our burdens before you that we might walk in the freedom that Jesus bought for us. We love you Lord and we are thankful for our blessings and for our Savior Jesus in whose name we pray. Amen.
May God bless you more than you can think, dream or imagine friends!
