Daily Prayer For October 12, 2015
Mon Oct 12, 2015 7:25 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Lord
As we gather together today, we ask for your help that we might be more sensitive to the needs of those around us and may others be more sensitive to our needs as well. We are all parts of the same body…we all serve different roles, but we need each other to work, grow and thrive as we should… each of us serves an important role within the body…though some may hide things well, or their struggles may not be easily seen by others, we all are fighting some sort of battle… whether it’s spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, financial, mental or maybe even a legal one…we all need support and encouragement…at times we may even need tangible physical or financial help or support…please give us eyes to see… give us a sensitive heart and compassionate spirit that we might all serve each other better, Lord…help us, also to be unafraid to express our needs to others …it is important to give, but it’s also important that we learn to receive gracefully, so others might be able to bless us as well…
Lord, we know many of our battles are won and fought on our knees…in spiritual war rooms…help us to become mighty prayer warriors for our friends and family, for those in ministry, for the body of Christ, for those who protect and serve and for all who are in the medical and emergency fields, for our leaders, for our countries…for the lost. Speak to our hearts, Lord…may we grow more sensitive to your voice and leading. Please help us to rest in the fact that you know our heart’s desires…you know our needs and you are faithful to provide… Help us to trust you in the times of waiting and to make the most of that time to draw closer to you. Help us to remember our waiting is not wasted time. You are always working on our behalf and redeeming the time. Help us to move past the unanswerable why questions, to asking what you would have us do in the places you’ve allowed us to be.
Father, please move in our hearts…move among us as a body of believers…break through the barriers that are keeping us from being all we can be. We thank you in advance for all you will do. Please go before us this day and lead and guide us in the coming week In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
May the Lord’s favor and blessing be upon you!
