Daily Prayer For October 8, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

As we gather today, we want to surrender our burdens to you…we ask for you to take all the things from us that weigh us down. We ask for forgiveness for our sins…please remove all the things that separate us from you and that are displeasing to you… please removed anything from our lives that hinders our walk with you… We ask to be set free from all that keeps us from living in the freedom that you bought for us, Lord… we ask you to please fill us with the fullness of your love, joy and peace…help us to remember all the times you’ve been faithful…all the times you answered our prayers in ways that exceeded our expectations…all the times you showed yourself faithful…help us to remember that if you don’t choose to answer our prayers in the way we would hope or like, it doesn’t mean you don’t love us…it means you will only give us what is best for us…help us to trust that you see the bigger picture…you know what will hinder and hurt us… help us to be forgiving towards those who have hurt us… Please help us to be brave and courageous and steadfast in the face of uncertainy… help us to trust you more and question you less…we ask for you to search our hearts and help us to root out any anger, resentment, envy, jealousy or bitterness…help us to have a willing heart that says “yes” to you and “no” to the things of this world..

Please replenish our strength and energy, Lord. So many are tired and ill and don’t have the energy they need to finish the tasks at hand… please touch and heal as only you can…please work in us and through us… please help our hearts and wounds to heal…help us to keep pressing on…to keep holding on to you, and to keep moving forward in every area of our lives…help us to live life to the fullest and to the best of our abilities so we won’t have regrets…. Please renew our passion for you and for life.

Lord, we also ask for you to be with our friends and loved ones… please watch over them and keep them safe and meet their every need. Draw them close to you, Lord, send your angels to minister to them… Please help us to praise you at all times…thank you for hearing our prayers…thank you for your constant thoughts for us and your loving concern for us. We love you, Lord and thank you for being our faithful Father who always provides all that we need. In the name of Jesus name we pray, Amen
