Daily Prayer For September 11, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we join together today we remember what happened on this day 14 years ago and we lift up the families to you who lost loved ones…we lift up the families of those who have lost loved ones since 9/11 as a result of injuries and diseases they sustained that day…we pray for everyone who has PTSD and diseases and other health issues as a result of all they saw and experienced … we pray for their continued healing and that they will feel comforted by your presence.
We ask for your blessing on all who serve and protect us in every capacity…we thank you for the selfless people who care about making the world a better place and giving of themselves for the protection, safety and betterment of others…please bless each one for their selflessness and protect them, Lord…we saw the best and worst of humanity on 9/11 and we pray blessings on our heroes and the work they do day in and day out.
Lord, you know the world has not become a better place in the last 14 years… there are more terrorists now than before…so many innocent people have been killed, persecuted, displaced and terrorized by evil people who are intent on destroying, killing and trying to take over the world…we see many who have an agenda that does not include unity, but division…we see how society is pulling further away from you…Father, we ask in the name of Jesus for you to work in the midst of the horrible things that are going on in the world…we pray for salvation for our enemies and for those who seek to do us harm…we pray they will come to see you, and know you like the Apostle Paul did…may they have a life changing encounter with you…we pray for strength, courage, protection and provision for all who are daily living in a nightmare at the hands of these destroyers of life…
Lord, your Word says if your people humble themselves and pray, you will hear their prayers and heal their land…we are your people, Lord and we know this world needs a revival like never before… we know it is up to us to pray for salvation for the lost… we need to pray to beat back the enemy…to bring hope to the hurting and to point the way to you…
We pray for our world leaders…we pray for their salvation and that they will realize their power and placement is allowed by you, and it is from you, that all blessings flow…may they have eyes to see and ears to hear so they can lead according to your will… may they humble themselves before you and seek your face…
There was such a sense of unity in the weeks after the tragedy and we pray to find that again…we pray for healing …for people…for our countries…we pray against the anger, violence and lawlessness that is permeating societies. We pray for revival, and to return again to you and to remember our rich heritage and the reasons behind how our country was founded and came to be…
Lord, as we remember today, may we be inspired to come together once again to seek your face. May that sense of brotherly love that everyone felt after 9/11 emerge again…we pray it’s not too late for that to happen… Please pour your blessings out upon the hurting and draw our hearts together as one. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
