Daily Prayer For September 3, 2015
Mon Sep 07, 2015 7:47 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you, for being our Savior…thank you for being the true source of peace and our guiding light. As we gather today, we lift up to you the Body of Christ… we know there are many wolves in disguise within the body that are trying to lead people astray. There are many false teachers and prophets… we know there are many people who are not what they claim to be and they look for the lost and the vulnerable to prey on. We ask for you to make us wise. Give us your discernment that we might not be deceived. Give us spiritual wisdom to see clearly those who are in our lives to wreak havoc. Help us to know your Word so we will not follow false doctrines or teachings. Give us strength and boldness to stand upon your Word so we might fight against the enemy and speak your truth.
Father, we pray for mental and spiritual clarity. We pray for wisdom to know how to deal with the difficult people in our lives. We pray for deliverance for those who are in abusive relationships … whether they be verbally, emotionally, physically or spiritually abusive relationships. Father, you know the enemy is trying to ruin lives any way he can. He knows our weak spots and he is not beyond sending people with the wrong advice or counsel…he is not above making us think that we need to sit and suffer in silence or to make us too afraid to let others know what really goes on behind closed doors and fake smiles. Reveal what is hidden, Lord.
We know there are many people who have been hurt by the church…many people who have found harshness, judgement, rejection and abuse…We pray for healing, Lord…we pray for deliverance from painful memories…may those who are afraid to trust find hope, healing and restoration from you…lead them to a body of believers where they will be accepted, loved and encouraged.
Oh, Lord, do a work in your church…bring believers together…help us not be divided…help us to not fight and argue over petty differences…help us to be united in your love and give us passion to share that love with the world. Help us to make the most of the time that is left to spread the good news of the gospel. Help us not be distracted by things that have no eternal value.
We pray for pastors and everyone who is in ministry… they are on the front lines and they need protection from enemy attacks. We ask you to meet their every need. Please renew their strength when they are battle weary and please surround them with people who will support them and lift them up. Please do a mighty work in these last days, Lord. May we join in prayer for your church and for the lost who don’t know you. Bind our hearts together as one and help us to serve you well. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen
Praying blessings upon you dear brothers and sisters!
