Daily Prayer For September 2, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We want to take time today to thank you for our blessings…to thank you for the things you do for us…to praise you for the ways you show your love and care for us…

We thank you that because you loved us so much, you sent Jesus to die for us. We thank you for caring for us so much, that you did not spare your own son to make a way for us…We thank you for Christ’s incredible sacrifice that allows us to have everlasting life by believing in Him… we thank you for watching over us…for surrounding us with your angels to protect us…for seeing our every need and hearing our every cry…we thank you for forgiving our sins and for remembering them no more…we thank you that through Christ’s blood that was shed for us, we are made clean and whole and worthy to be in your presence…

We thank you for your heart of compassion and understanding towards us. We thank you for loving us so unconditionally…for seeing past our faults and failings and seeing us how we will be… for accepting us just as we are and never casting us away…we thank you for being faithful…for being there through our highs and lows…for wiping our tears and binding our wounds…for turning our mourning to dancing…for redeeming all that we go through…

We thank you for your listening ear …we thank you because of Jesus and The Holy Spirit, we are never alone, we are never forsaken, abandoned or forgotten…you have removed the labels that the world puts on us so our identity has become “Children of the King”… your sons and daughthers…heirs to the kingdom…more than conquerors instead of victims…beloved of the Most High God…

Lord, we are so unworthy…so grateful…so overwhelmed by your goodness…may we remember these things during the hard times…may we remember your power, your strength and your promises…may our hearts be filled to overflowing as we think of the great lengths you have gone to, so we might live and not perish in our sins…so we might know you and have fellowship with you…so we can feel your peace and be comforted by your presence…so we can look forward to being with you forever…

We all can’t wait to be free from pain and to have healed and whole bodies and to be reunited with loved ones who have gone before us, but the greatest most wonderful part of heaven will be uniting with you and being in your presence and feeling your love like never before…We thank you for all that we have and all that is to come…we praise you because you are so worthy to be praised. We thank you that we can pray in the name of our blessed Savior Jesus. Amen.
