Daily Prayer For September 9, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Father,
It’s our fervent prayer that we will grow strong in you… we want to seek your face and to be drawn into a relationship with you that is more intimate, passionate and life changing than we ever thought was possible. We pray that our relationship with you will be the most important thing in our lives… we pray it will be your approval that we seek most…your companionship we seek first…your voice we hear first in the morning and the last one we hear before we go to bed at night… we pray that as we draw closer to you, that we will be strengthened and encouraged and be less bothered by things that are going on around us and in the world. We ask that as we cling to you, that we will find healing, hope, coping skills and trust…all these things will help us in being the best that we can be for you. Help us not to become stuck or stagnant. Help us to keep growing and moving forward in every area of our lives.
We are like clay in your hands… we are broken down, but not destroyed. Our hearts are being shaped and molded into something that will not be easily crushed and will be a thing of beauty in the likeness of Christ… so many of us here are far from healed and so far from where we want, or hope to be… so many still have what feel like bleeding wounds…but we know you are working and we continue to reach out to you in faith to touch the hem of your garment, Lord. Touch us Lord as only you can and in the way you think we need.
We ask that we might experience you in a new way today, Lord. May we find a new scripture that touches our heart, a new song that blesses us…a new insight into your character that we had never noticed…we just want to know you more and better, Lord… May we feel your closeness this day. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things Amen.
May His joy and peace fill your heart today!
