Daily Prayer For February 24, 2023
Tue Mar 07, 2023 3:23 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We are grateful no matter what comes or goes, you remain faithful. Thank you for being fully present in our lives. Father, Jesus told us to take His yoke upon us and learn from Him, and we will find rest for our souls. Please help us do this. We want to learn to be at peace and rest no matter what happens around us. When Jesus’ disciples were worried about how to feed the thousands who came to hear Jesus teach, Jesus wasn’t concerned. When the disciples were frightened and distressed by the storm buffeting their boat, Jesus slept peacefully. Jesus showed us how to live…He showed us where to look for help. He promised us so very much that we overlook or don’t claim as our own…
Jesus and Holy Spirit are with us every moment of every day. Help us live that truth…help us trust your heart and what you say, even though we can’t physically see it with our eyes…help us be open to your teaching and guidance and all that you want to show us. Please help us not to limit you and what you want to do in our lives. Please stretch and grow and change us to be more than we knew possible.
Too often, we just go through our days aimlessly. Jesus was not distracted by things that didn’t matter. He was always mindful of His purpose and sought your will, not His own. Please help us be more like Jesus in this area. Help us make the remainder of our days count for your kingdom. There is so much going on in the world…it’s so easy to become distracted and consumed by the bad news and sad news that is everywhere. Please help us turn these concerns into prayers and leave them with you. Please help us so we don’t let our grief, pain, and losses sideline us from life and our purpose. Help us keep pressing on in our heavenly calling so we finish our races well. We can only do this with your help and guidance, Abba. Please help us to keep our eye on the prize and be confident that what we can’t do in our own power and strength, we can do in yours. Help us remember that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains.
Our flesh is weak, Father…what we want to do, we often fail at…but with your help, we will fall, get back up again, and keep moving forward. Please work in us and through us for your glory. Help us hear your voice above all others. We give you all we are and all we hope to be and ask for your will to be done. We ask these things in the name of our Savior and Messiah, Jesus. Amen.
Blessings be upon you, friends!
