Daily Prayer For February 13, 2023

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

There is no greater love we could ever know…no greater example to try to emulate than what you have shown us. The Word says you are love…you embody love…your perfect love casts out fear. Your love is patient and kind and sees beyond our faults…it hopes for the best…believes the best, and gives unconditionally. Thank you for loving us so well and completely.

Please help us to become more like Christ. We pray that people will see you in us. May others see Jesus in how we live our lives and how we love. Please help us speak kindly and show compassion towards others. Please help us be slow to speak, slow to anger, quick to listen, and offer the same grace, forgiveness, and patience to others you show us. Please help us see the good in others before the bad. Help us be full of mercy and wisdom so our words edify, build up, and not tear down. We pray your light will shine forth from our lives so that people will be drawn to you. Please help us as believers to be a people of prayer and intercession, united in one purpose and calling to share the good news of the gospel.

We are grateful you use our brokenness, messes, and trials to make something that reflects the beauty, healing, and redemptive power of Christ in us. We are thankful we can count on you as our most intimate confidante and trusted companion. Please work within us, Abba, so we fall more in love with you each passing day. Thank you for your goodness, faithfulness, and abiding love. We pray people will find you to be their source of hope, strength, courage, comfort, and peace this day. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen
