Daily Prayer For June 27, 2022

Hello, Friends! I felt led to re-post this prayer today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the blessing of a new day and week. We want to start our week off by giving you thanks and praise for your goodness and faithfulness. Thank you for your mercies that are new this day and for our many blessings.
Please help us this week to see others through your eyes. Help us love with your love and be patient with others. Please help us not be easily angered or offended. Please grant us your wisdom. Help us be filled with the understanding that comes from above when dealing with people we don’t agree with. We know we don’t always react as you would when people upset us or are disruptive, argumentative, or rude. Please help us show your love and be like Jesus in all we face this week. Please help us see past the habits and traits of others that make them difficult to be around. Help us recognize your Spirit within everyone we interact with. May we extend the same kindness, gentleness, and forgiveness to others that you extend to us. Please help us to pray instead of complaining about the frailties and shortcomings of those you’ve put in our lives…please help us learn the lessons you are trying to teach us through them.
Father, you know what each of us is dealing with today. We pray for all who didn’t get enough sleep…everyone who is foggy-headed from grief and depression…for all who are in physical pain or dealing with illness…for those who have an overwhelming to-do list…for all who are trying to cope with struggles, challenges, and difficult circumstances and all who are heavy-hearted over family and friends who are going through tough times. You know all of these things affect our attitudes, decisions and how well we cope with stressful situations. Please help us rise to the challenges we face. Please help us overcome and handle everything before us. Please help us feel your calming presence wherever we go and in whatever we do today. We cling to your promises that we can do all things through Christ, and you are with us, sustaining us through all we face. May your will be done in us and through us today and every day this week. We ask these things in the name of our beloved Savior and Messiah, Jesus. Amen.
