Daily Prayer For June 12, 2022

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We come before you today and ask for your blessing upon our families. Please fill our homes with your peace and presence, and may they be a safe haven from the turmoil and cares of the world. Please help us find healthy ways to deal with our cares, anxiety, stress, political differences, and frustrations.

Lord, you don’t want us to be anxious, worried, or afraid…yet, every day, there is something new to be concerned about…forecasts of rising prices and shortages are getting louder, and it seems financial stability and economic security are slipping away.

Lord, please grant us wisdom, knowledge, and discernment to navigate these uncertain times. Please lead and guide us and help us do all we can to help ourselves and our loved ones, and then trust you to provide what is beyond us. You tell us to give our burdens to you, and you will give us rest. We so long for the rest that only you can provide, Lord.

Please help us get better at shutting down anxious and worried thoughts and replacing them with your promises. Please help us focus more on you, The Prince of Peace, instead of the things that rob us of your peace. Please help us see these times as an avenue of learning to trust and depend on you more. Please help us get better at tamping down our fears and silencing the voices of doom and gloom so we can hear your voice above all others.

Lord, we need you…this world needs you. We are so thankful for the hope you offer and that you are with us in all we face. Thank you for being our Shepherd and watching over us, protecting us, and leading us all of our days. We are grateful for all you are and all you do. We commit everything to you and thank you in advance for all you are doing on our behalf and for all that is to come. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
