Daily Prayer For June 9, 2022
Fri Jun 24, 2022 2:47 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this day and for your grace that will sustain us. We admit, Father, there is so much that’s happening that is discouraging and overwhelming. At times, it feels like our lives will never be good or feel normal again.
When we are tempted to focus only on our hardships and all that is wrong in the world…when we are straining to see your hand at work…help us remember you bring beauty from ashes, and you have not surrendered your power, might, majesty or throne to anyone.
We are grateful you are still the God of the impossible…The Sustainer of Life and The Giver of Good Gifts…and The God of All Power and Knowledge. You transform lives and hopeless situations. Every time we are tempted to give up and think nothing else can be done, help us remember that things aren’t over until you say they are over. You make a way through where we don’t see a way out or around. We are so grateful you are not limited by our limitations, and you remain The Great I Am. We are so thankful you have options, ideas, and resources we can’t begin to imagine.
We give you praise, glory, and honor today, Father. We are grateful that each day that passes brings us one day closer to being with you…one day closer to the incorruptible things…one day closer to new life, endless joy, and your perfect peace that will never fade away. We are thankful that the best is yet to come. Please fan the flames of our faith. Help us return to our first love for you and retain that place of reverence, awe, and wonder that marvels that the King of Kings cares so much for us He was willing to die in our place. Please help us rise above the petty and mundane and focus on the eternal and the wondrous works of your hands. We are so grateful to be clothed in righteousness and made holy by the One Who Is Holy. We offer up this day and all that is in it. May you be glorified in all we think, say, and do. We thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen
May you and your day be blessed, friends!
