Daily Prayer For August 25, 2015
Wed Aug 26, 2015 12:50 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
We thank you for taking the least likely of people… and unimaginable events… and transforming what was dark and wrong, into things that have been purified and restored for your glory. You take what the devil meant for harm in our lives and bring something good out of it…something that brings you glory…
Thank you, Lord, for taking our sins and our failings and washing us clean in the blood of Jesus… you take our brokenness and you transform our pain, into something that has purpose and beauty. We may not see that now, or when things are happening, but what you did before with your beloved children, you still do…you are the same yesterday, today and forever and your promises stay true. You promise to redeem and restore… and we can count on that, Lord. Thank you for your mercy and grace…
You know that we will stumble in our walks and yet you still call us your beloved children. You know that there will be things like divorce, infidelity, addictions, backsliding, unbelief, doubt, betrayal, promiscuity, and yet you already have a plan in motion to wash us, cleanse us…to renew and restore and use the things that would have destroyed us, to be a testimony to your life changing power. You waste nothing in our lives…
When we think of the Apostle Paul’s story, it should give us hope for our friends and family who are so adamant in their disbelief and lack of faith…Paul’ story reminds us that you can in one split second allow their eyes to be opened to the truth of who you are. There is no one who is so far gone, that they can’t be changed and redeemed and see you for who you are and ask Jesus to be their savior… May Paul’s story remind us to faithfully and fervently lift our loved ones in prayer and to not give up on them. You do what no man can do,… you delight in our faithful prayers…
Lord, we look forward to seeing the things you are working in our lives and the lives of those we love. May we bear much fruit for you…May our faith grow stronger and more anchored in you as remember that you are faithful to complete the work that you have begun in us. With gratitude we pray today, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Blessings be upon you friends!
