Daily Prayer For June 26, 2019
Fri Jun 28, 2019 2:21 pm
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Our Father,
Many losses cause other losses…like a domino effect. Some people have a lifetime of losses and grief piled up inside that no one else knows about. Sometimes people have a hard time dealing with what others perceive as a small thing to deal with when actually that small thing was the straw that broke the camels back. Help us not to compare pain or losses or judge others for how they handle their struggles. Help us to have compassion for each other. May we see through your eyes and love with your love.
You promise to be near to the broken-hearted and to bind our wounds, but for most of us, you don’t take our pain away instantly…healing is usually a process. It is not easy and it usually lasts longer than we would like and unfortunately, the only way to heal from grief is to go through it. So many just want to wake up in heaven to escape the pain…they don’t feel like they can endure what they are going through. For anyone who is feeling that way, we ask for your angels to be about them. We ask that they would feel your comfort and nearness… may they see a glimmer of hope and believe that you will show them how to get through the things in this life that seem impossible to survive.
For every aching heart…for every person longing to hold a loved one and can’t. For every person who is feeling like they are missing part of themselves…we ask for your Holy Spirit to fall afresh on them. May they believe that you will walk them through the dark valley and watch over them like a loving Shepherd… that you will take them to the still waters where they can drink of your Living Water that will refresh, revive and replenish their empty hearts…may they believe that you will lead them to green pastures…to the land of the living. You promise your grace is sufficient to see us through all we face in this life and you will not fail us. May they find the courage and faith to take one day at a time and to trust in you.
May we find your peace in the midst of our storms and your wisdom, guidance, and direction for all we face. We give you praise and thanks for all you will do. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen
Blessings be upon you friends!
