Daily Prayer For June 28, 2019
Fri Jun 28, 2019 2:24 pm
Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving us despite our flaws…you know our secret thoughts…the sins that we try to hide from others…the feelings of anger, shame, guilt, inferiority, inadequacy, worthlessness, resentment, jealousy, disappointment, and hopelessness that we keep hidden inside…we ask for your help us to overcome the things that we have been unable to overcome ourselves.
So many of us carry hurts and wounds from those who were supposed to love us…people who should know us better than anyone, yet the things they have said to us, and about us and the way they have judged us and treated us, make us painfully aware that they are blinded to the truth. They are oblivious to the wounds they have inflicted and the terrible impact their actions and words have had upon us. Help us to clean out these wounds once and for all so we can heal. Help us to forgive as you forgive. Help us to walk in your freedom. Help us to let go of the baggage that we carry and all of the things that have consumed our thoughts and damaged our lives.
Help us to be free from every tool that the enemy has tried to use to derail us and to keep us from seeing your truth. Help us to dwell on things that are good, holy and pure and to remember that each day holds hope for new miracles, mercy, healing, and accomplishments through Christ. Help us to let go of the anchors that hold us back and keep us stuck where we are. Help us to give ourselves completely to you and your will, so we can let you do your healing, restorative work in us. We want you to be glorified in our lives and circumstances…help us to be still before you. May your Word wash over our minds. Help us, so our emotions don’t rule us…help us to make good and wise decisions…Help us to let go of the past so we can live fully in the present. Please help us to make the most of our days. Heal us, Lord, that we may be healed…create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit in us. In the name of our Savior Jesus we ask these things. Amen.
Blessings be upon you friends!
