Daily Prayer For June 23, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
As much as we long for quick healing and speedy answers to our prayers, we know there are many things that can’t be rushed through in life…it’s through the waiting and the healing process, that we learn the lessons we need to learn. You designed us to work and function best by taking things, one day at a time. We cannot eat enough food in one sitting to last us a whole week…we cannot sleep enough in one day to last for a week…we don’t learn everything instantly…you showed your children this principle by providing enough manna in the wilderness to feed them one day at a time…if they gathered more than enough for that one day, it would go bad. You wanted them to depend on you and look to you daily…you wanted to show yourself as a loving Father who is faithful to provide for His children. You wanted them to learn to trust you and to obey you because it was for their own good.
There are so many things in life that there are no quick fixes for…there are so many things that there are no short cuts or workarounds for… we need daily doses of your light to make the darkness brighter…we need to daily feed our spirit’s and nourish our hurting hearts with your Word. We reach our destination by taking one step at a time. Some of us walk faster than others… no one grows, learns, heals, matures or overcomes at the same pace…but we all must put into practice the same principles to see growth, improvement or change.
We ask for your courage and strength to face life’s obstacles, hurts and losses… help us to remember all the things that you have delivered us from in the past and help us to drown out the enemy’s lies that whisper to us, that this time is different… help us to ignore the lies that tell us you don’t care and that you are not going to come through as you have done before. Help us to overcome our doubts, fears and feelings and emotions and trust you to be faithful and to make a way.
We come before you on bended knee, with raised arms and open hands and ask you to touch us and fill us and create a right spirit within us. We give you all praise, glory, and honor and thank you that we can ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen
May your heart be at peace today!
