Daily Prayer For June 7, 2019

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Each day we wake up is a new chance to sing your praises. You are our rock, our fortress, our source of peace and strength. You are The Great I AM whose word never returns void. How blessed we are that you call us beloved and heirs to your Kingdom. How blessed we are that you made a way for us by sending Jesus to die in our place. Help us to remember these things as we go about our day. We have so much to be thankful for each day. Help us to be patient in the midst of stressful situations. Help us to realize that delays might be for our protection and anything you allow to touch our lives has first passed through your hands.
Please order our day. Help us to be sensitive to your voice and leading. Help us to be mindful of anyone you might place in our path who you want us to share with, pray for, love on or encourage. May we be mindful that there are angels unaware around us. Help us to live our lives proclaiming your goodness and sharing the hope of salvation with those who don’t know you. May your light shine forth from us, even in the midst of our struggles. It’s said that people won’t remember what we say, they won’t remember the things that we do, but they will remember how we made them feel. May we be a source of encouragement and kindness. May we share the same comfort with others that you’ve given us. May your love flow through us so we make people feel that they are valued, cared for and important. May we be known for our love for you and for being like Jesus.
Please fill our lives to overflowing with your joy and peace. May we remember the joy of our salvation, your faithfulness, all the prayers you’ve answered and all the times you have seen us through in our lives. May we live with an attitude of gratitude and a sense of purpose. May we serve you well and bring glory and honor to you in all that we think, say and do. Please bless us so we may, in turn, bless others. We thank you that we have a Savior in whose name we can pray. Amen
