Daily Prayer For June 22, 2019
Sat Jun 22, 2019 8:11 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Help us to take the time to look around us and to see signs of your nearness. We’re grateful that even in the midst of hard things, you are good and you are with us. You are still on the throne…still in control…still orchestrating and working things for your will to redeem, renew, restore and to fulfill every promise and prophecy in your Word. What a comfort to know that nothing is random or by chance in this life. The foolish in this world think they are in control…they think they have everything figured out and that their way is best…how sad that they defy you and deny you. Lord, open the eyes of the blind and soften hard hearts that refuse to believe that you are who you say you are…may they see your heart toward them and their need for you. May they see that the only answer and hope for this world is Jesus.
Lord, please thwart the plans of the evil ones. So many are suffering in the hands of abusers and evil people who have no value for life…so many are being oppressed, persecuted and held in unthinkable circumstances where every day they wake up is like waking up in h**l…Father, please make a way of escape…set people free…may they feel your nearness and find you to be their Deliverer and Redeemer. We lift our voices as one and we pray for our brothers and sisters around the world who are being persecuted. We pray for those who are told there is no hope…that their lives are not their own…that they are nothing more than another person’s property. Lord, please move on their behalf and make a way where there seems to be no way. You are the God who sees. You are the God who hears. You are the God who makes rivers in the deserts and sets the captives free. Send rescuers and people who can intervene on their behalf. Please bless, give strength, courage, resources, wisdom, and provision for all who fight on the behalf of the abused, the persecuted, the trafficked and all who are held against their will. Please shine your light in these dark places and bring more awareness…raise up an army of people who see beyond their own places of comfort and ease to have a heart for those who deal with unthinkable realities. Give us the heart and mind of great prayer warriors who intercede for others. We may never see or be in these hard places, but we can fight on our knees in prayer on their behalf.
Help us to keep praising, praying, trusting, pressing on and into you, until you call us home. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen
May God use you in ways you can’t imagine friends!
