Daily Prayer For June 6, 2019
Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:06 pm
Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…
Dear Father,
We know that the enemy comes to rob, steal and destroy and he will often use people as his instruments of destruction. Please help us to guard our hearts. Help us to be wise and discerning. Help us to hear your still small voice. Help us to learn to trust the intuition that you give us. Help us to be obedient and trust that you only want the best for us and if you close a door, or tell us “no”, it’s for our own good…it’s for our protection…it’s because you have something better in mind.
For all who are dealing with emotional trauma and stress from someone who is abusive in any form, please give them your wisdom to know how to deal and cope with what’s going on. You know the stress and strain…you see the tears, the crushed dreams, the frustrations, the rejection, the battered self-esteem…you know everyone who has been slandered, lied to and cheated on… everyone who has had their reputation smeared and everyone who has been gossiped about…you know each one who deals with someone who is never wrong and always places the blame with others. You see those who are beaten down and battle weary…those who are doubting themselves and feeling like their world is turned upside down…
Please heal hurting hearts and redeem and restore all that the enemy has taken. Please help the wounded and injured to find peace and healing. May they find comfort in you, knowing that Jesus understands their pain because He was rejected, despised, lied about, betrayed, gossiped about and slandered. He knows what it is like to be innocent and yet condemned…
We ask for your help to overcome, Lord…we ask you to set the captives free…no matter what the situation…for anyone who is in an environment that is not healthy emotionally, mentally or physically…please show your grace and mercy and help them to find deliverance and safety. Please make roadways in the wilderness. Please provide as only you can.
This world so needs you, and we know you need us to suit up and show up as prayer warriors. When we have been through hard things ourselves, it makes us uniquely qualified to pray for others who are dealing with the same things. We know what and how to pray because we have been there ourselves. May we never doubt the impact of the faithful, fervent prayers of righteous people. Please give us wisdom and discernment to know when to speak and when to stay silent. Help us to make prayer and faith our first response in all things. Help us to be slow to anger and quick to pray…slow to speak and quick to pray…may we have your peace no matter what is going on around us. We ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen
God bless you, friends!
