Daily Prayer For June 1, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
The Bible says that when we run into problems and trials we should remember that they are good for us because they help us learn to be patient… that patience matures us and helps us in every aspect of our lives…no one likes to go through times of adversity, but we are grateful that with your help, our struggles can make us stronger in many ways… they can draw us closer to you…they can make us better people and more like Jesus.
You know our hearts…you know what we are capable of…you know how much we can endure …you equip us for what you call us to and you help us to handle all that we are given…you allow us to be put in situations where we must rely on your strength to see us through…you allow things so we, and others, can see you work in the midst of our circumstances. Sometimes you allow thing so you can work great miracles… so you can do even greater things than what we prayed and asked for… Daniel in the lion’s den; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace; Joseph and all he went through, and when you allowed Lazarus to die are all examples of that.
Please help us to stand strong when the enemy tries to discourage us and make us doubt you during difficult times. Remind us to counter his lies and discouragement with your truth and encouragement. We pray for all who are feeling hopeless that they will remember your past works and all the times you’ve answered prayers and seen us through troubled times… may we all have a sense of peace, hope, and optimism about what our future holds, even if we are unable to see signs of your goodness at the moment. You promise that you have a good plan for us…that we have a hope-filled future because of Jesus…that you know our needs before we ask… you see the beginning from the end and everything in between. You do not give us empty words as promises. You do not give your children leftovers or crumbs…you are The Great I Am and we are yours…Thank you, for your infinite love and care for us and for knowing what we need and what is best for us. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We thank you for all you’ve done for us, for all you continue to do ins us and for all that is yet to come…In Jesus’ name, Amen
May His hope, joy, and peace fill your heart!
