Daily Prayer For November 20, 2015
Sun Nov 22, 2015 7:53 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for seeing us through another week. There has been much going on in our world and it can make us anxious and worried. We pray for comfort and peace for all who are feeling this way…we pray for comfort for all who are dealing with grief and loss. We pray for peace, healing and provision for all who are dealing with health and financial issues. Lord, we lift up to you all who are feeling discouraged…
Help us Father, to learn how to deal with discouragement so it doesn’t lead to dispair…help us to learn helpful coping skills…teach us how to train our brains to focus on all that is right in our world…all the things that are good, true, honorable and full of virtue instead of all that is wrong… we need to be prayerful about all that is not right, but we can’t let it discourage us and immobilize us…help us not to be naïve, but to have hopeful trust in you and your promises…help us to be active participants in making sure we are the best we can be mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically …help us to take every step that is possible and available to help ourselves, whether it’s seeking out medical help or financial guidance… help us to not be afraid or too prideful to seek help…help us not to worry about the negative things that others might think about us or our situations…help us to become advocates for ourselves and our loved ones…help us even when it’s difficult, to keep moving forward, even if it’s just baby steps at a time…help us to do our best each day, no matter how hard it is and then trust you for the rest…
For all who are feeling like they are in a pit and they can’t find their way out, please intervene, Lord…help them to find their footing…bring them up out of the miry clay and help them to find their footing on the solid rock of Jesus and your Word…help them to see a glimmer of hope…may your Spirit rise up in them and comfort and encourage them…may your Word and promises overpower the untruths that the enemy is constantly trying to fill their hearts and minds with…help them to search your Word to encourage themselves when no one is around…help us all to look up instead of down…instead of looking to ourselves or others, help us to remember to seek you and your face…help us to remember this is not our home and we are only passing through…this is not the end of our story…you are not done until you call us home and you are still doing miracles and fulfilling your word and as long as we have breath there is hope because of Jesus. We lift our hands to you Lord and we ask you to fill us…overwhelm us with your love, joy and peace and fill us with your Holy Spirit. We thank you in advance, Lord and look forward to all you will do. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen
Blessings be upon you friends!
