Daily Prayer For November 4, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for this new day. We thank you that we do not face this day alone. You know everything about us. You know when we rest and when we rise, you know everything that will happen today and every decision we will face. You are in control of every circumstance, hassle, inconvenience and trouble that will or will not come our way… we won’t know this side of heaven how many things we have been protected from, how many near misses and accidents were averted…how many times you anticipated our need and provided without us asking…you are so fully present in our lives that we need not worry or be anxious…you are our defender and protector, our healer and provider… you hold all of creation in your hands… no leaf or sparrow falls from a tree without you knowing about it…may we find rest, relief and comfort knowing that you go before us today and every day.
Lord, please help us to not worry about things that are beyond our control or things that have not happened yet…help us not to worry about the things that people think, or speak about us…help us to be able to shut our minds down at night and find peaceful sleep. We all have legitimate concerns and things that must be dealt with, but you do not want us to worry or struggle to carry the weight of burdens that we were never meant to carry…for anyone who is struggling to let go of worry, please help them to remember that you already have figured out a solution to every problem…you already have the when and the how worked out for each situation of our lives. Please bind the enemy from using things against us to rob us of our peace, joy and rest in you.
Lord, for everyone who has a hurting heart, may they find comfort…for those who are raw with pain and grief from loss…for those who are struggling to pick up the pieces of their lives…for those who are ill or injured and for those who are taking care of someone who is ill/injured/disabled and they are feeling overwhelmed and overworked…for those who are frustrated by all that is not getting done or all they are missing out on… please come beside them, Lord…please breathe new life into them…may they feel your Holy Spirit fall upon them like a refreshing breeze on a hot summer day…may they renew their strength, courage and hope and find your joy in the midst of the dry, barren places they find themselves in.
In the stillness of this moment with arms wide open and a heart ready to receive, we ask to breathe in your Spirit and exhale any stress, anger, cares, worries, anxious thoughts or frustrations. We pray to be filled with your joy and peace until our cups are overflowing. We thank you and praise you, Lord for your goodness, grace and mercy. What a wonder you are, Lord…how we are looking forward to the day when we will be with you forever and will feel the physical touch of your embrace and see you in all of your glory! We love you, Lord, and thank you that we can pray and ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

Thank you so much for this prayer. It's so very much needed and appreciated. This week and next are and will be extremely hard for me. I miss the love of my life so very much.
