Daily Prayer For November 18, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

We come before you and thank you for your faithfulness…we thank you that no matter what happens in this world…no matter how dark things seem to get, you are still on the throne, you are still in control, your grace and mercy still remain and nothing escapes your attention…you are the Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and End…The same yesterday, today and forever and your Word does not return void…as it was in the beginning, it shall be again… you have not forgotten one promise you have made…you are not a man who lies or changes your mind…what you have said you will do for us… we can trust and believe without doubt or reservation…everything we have, you have provided and you will continue to provide and meet each need as long as we live.

Lord, help us to stay calm and steadfast no matter what is happening around us. Help us to stay confident in you…help us to remember the many works of your hands…help us to remember the many testimonies of your goodness and faithfulness through the ages…help us to not doubt or stumble in our faith…may we be used as lights in the darkness that point the way to you…may we be salt that doesn’t lose its saltiness…may we be able to offer hope to those who are seeking… to a world that is desperately seeking peace,may we point the way to you as the Prince of Peace …may we point the way to you as The Source of all Comfort and the Healer of Hurting Hearts.

Lord, we lift up our world…we lift up our leaders…we lift up our spiritual leaders and all who are on the front lines protecting, serving, and giving of themselves to better this world and to prepare for your Kingdom…may we never take a single thing for granted and may we live our lives with purpose knowing that our days are short and that our redemption is drawing near…help us not to grow weary…help us to stay steadfast and faithful…help those who are disillusioned and weary…it’s so hard to not be frustrated as we see so much is out of our hands… as we see all the people who are making poor choices that effect us all…help us to turn our worries to prayers…help us to be a source of joy for those around us…help us to comfort others with the same comfort we have found in you …help us to treasure our days and treasure our blessings…help us to focus more on what we have instead of what we lack and may your joy rise up in us…help us to remember that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but you’ve given us a sound mind so that we can take every thought captive and subject them to your promises and truth…greater are you than anything in this world…good will triumph over evil…the battle has already been won and victory has been assured. May we rest and find peace and comfort in these truths. You are for us and it doesn’t matter who is against us… the gates of **** and evil will not prevail. Thank you, Lord…thank you for your faithfulness and goodness and for all that is right in this world because of you. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
