Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for all the beautiful things in our world. Please help us take the time to appreciate all you’ve given us. Please remind us to stop and smell the flowers…take time to view a sunrise or sunset…gaze up at the wonders in the night sky…take in your amazing creativity and majesty that surrounds us. There is much wrong in our world because of sin, but more is right and wonderful because you have created all things.

Please help us make it a daily practice to look for the good and the blessings in life. Help us encourage ourselves and others by remembering the mighty works of your hands. Please help us be like children filled with awe and wonder over your magnificent creations and creatures. There are so many genuinely wondrous things in this world. We miss so much by being distracted and focusing on the wrong things. Please help us do better in this area of our lives.

Thank you for all the simple tools you’ve given us to help lift our spirits and support our overall well-being. In your infinite wisdom, you created us, so being in nature and looking at scenic pictures can fill us with peace…watching fish swim or petting a puppy lowers our blood pressure and stress levels…walking barefoot in the grass helps our physical and mental well-being…different aromas can calm us and help us relax…listening to nature sounds can help us sleep better. We could never list all the things you’ve done and given us to help us live more abundant lives in every way. Thank you for all the pleasurable things you’ve given us to help us live well and thrive. Please give us a fresh perspective on our lives and circumstances, so we don’t miss out on your blessings…help us see things as you see them, Lord. Please lead and guide us so we see, do, and become more than we thought was possible.

With all the beautiful things in this world, we know that what you’ve gone ahead to prepare for us is far greater than our minds can begin to comprehend. You are such a good and gracious God. We are grateful for all you are, all you do, and all that is to come. Thank you for the many ways you bless our lives. We give you all praise, glory, and honor. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
