Daily Prayer For February 1, 2023

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Lord,
It’s hard to believe we are in the second month of the new year. The days just seem to zip by faster and faster. As we face this month, we’re thankful you have already seen every obstacle we will face, and our lives are in your hands. Please lead and guide us in the days ahead, and may your will be done in us and through us.
As the world focuses this month on love, we know this is a tough time for many. Please help us not wish away our days waiting for hard dates on the calendar to pass. We know we can do and face all things with your strength and grace, and one of the best ways we can help ourselves is to help others. Please help us make a conscious effort to make this month about sharing your agape love… blessing and encouraging others with acts of kindness…and finding ways to be a conduit for your love. Please put people in our path who need to know they are loved by you. We are asking, Lord, for you to be our partner in this endeavor and to inspire, lead, guide, and give us your eyes to see ways to share and show your love to those around us.
In the days ahead, please fill our cups with an abundance of your love, peace, and joy so it overflows and splashes onto everyone around us. It is one of life’s beautiful blessings that we become joyful when we bring joy to others…that as we share your love with others, we feel your love in return…as we comfort others, we are comforted…as we bless others, we are blessed. We can never outgive you, Lord, and you delight in using us to bless others. We bow before you today and ask you to please use us to be your hands and feet to those around us in big and small ways. We pray we will please you and make you proud in all we think, say, and do. We are grateful for our Savior, who shows us how to live and love well. In His name, we ask these things. Amen.

why is it that the days and weeks fly by??
I sometimes get the feeling that our lives are standing still
there is little good left in this world we live in
80% of people nowadays only know each other only via social media.
and everything then seems beautiful and prosperous

crime is getting more and more every day..
people lock their houses and often only go out for what they need
often they don't even know who their neighbors are
(a small example)
if you ask your neighbor for a cup of sugar
he wonders .. who are you!!
people used to know their neighborhood, and shared many things
people now live in their own bubble now, and do little activity among themselves! and with each other
maybe that's why the days go by so fast
it's such a shame that the world can now only be meant for the rich
