Daily Prayer For January 22, 2018
Mon Jan 22, 2018 4:50 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
We often feel helpless when all we can do is pray…please help us to remember that prayer is not just a concession when we can do nothing else…it is the most important thing we can do in any situation. You tell us the faithful prayers of the righteous does much…you tell us to intercede for our brothers and sisters…to pray for our leaders and those in authority…to pray for our enemies and those who speak badly and persecute us… we ask you to hear our petitions and the cries and the groans of our hearts. We ask you to do what only you can do…you are still the same God of miracles that you always have been… you are the Mighty One who defeated death and made a way where there seemed to be no way… You are still the defender of orphans and widows and The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and End. You are The God of Angel Armies and The One who holds the universe in place…
Lord, we ask for you to reveal yourself to our enemies. May they see the truth of who you are and be saved. Please move among us and pour out your Holy Spirit. May revival break out in our hearts, in our families, in your church, in our communities, and across every nation of the world…we ask that you would do once again the great and mighty things that you did in Acts…if ever there was a time that this world needed your light and truth to cast out the darkness, it is now. Please make your presence so real it is undeniable to those who are seeking deliverance, hope, redemption, healing and the truth about who you are.
Please fill us with your Holy Spirit and help us to be mighty warriors, lights in the dark and witnesses for you. Your Word and history books are filled with stories of average people who did extraordinary things because they put their faith and trust in you and said “Here I am, Lord, use me”…may we be conduits of your hope, love and peace and a testament to what you can do in and through a life that is yielded to you. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen
May you feel His power rise up within you today, friends!
