Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Thank you for being faithful to us…people may let us down, but you never will. Sometimes it is hard to understand why people do and say the things they do, but we don’t need to understand others and why they think or act a certain way. The only thing we need to do is to pray for them and leave them to your care…we can’t control the actions or choices of others…we can’t change anyone or make them see what they are unable or unwilling to see…all we can do is our best to be the people you want us to be and to pray for others…Help us to focus on you and leave the cares and worries of this life in your capable hands…

Help us to remember who we are in you…help us to remember our divine inheritance…help us to remember that we are new creations in you…the old has passed away…you are doing a new work in each of us and you are true to your word…you never stop what you have started…you will faithfully complete the work you have begun in each us…our past does not matter…we are more than what we are going through…we are not defined what others think or say about us…what defines us is who we are in you…

Strengthen us, Lord, for all that lies ahead and may we engrave your words on the tablets of our hearts and be transformed by them…please renew our minds…we can never be perfect, but we pray to be constantly improving and changing and seeking to be as faithful to remember you, as you are to remember us. May people see you in us and be drawn to you. We praise you Lord and thank you for the many ways that you bless our lives. In the name above all names we pray, Amen.
