Daily Prayer For March 22, 2017
Thu Mar 23, 2017 1:44 am
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Heavenly Father,
We come before you this morning with grateful hearts. We are grateful that we can come to you as a child comes to their parent for protection…we are thankful for the peace and confidence you instill in us when you tell us, “Fear not, for I am with you”…the darkness is not dark to you and you know the way we should go. We thank you that even as we see dark times falling across the world, we have your hope that sustains us and allows us to not be afraid.
Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. We realize that the future of our world is so accurately foretold in the Bible. Please constantly prompt us to be interceding in prayer for families, friends, neighbors, communities, our countries and our leaders … we pray for the victims of evil acts of violence all around the world. We pray for the injured and the traumatized and for all the families who are grieving today because of great losses. We pray for all who are displaced, terrorized, persecuted, imprisoned, enslaved and homeless. We grieve with those who grieve, Lord…our hearts are heavy for the things we feel powerless to change, but we know that as long as we have a voice to pray, we are not powerless…where two or three are gathered, you are in their midst and the faithful, fervent prayers of righteous people accomplishes much…so we cry out to you, Father and ask for your protection, provision and deliverance for all we have mentioned…
You are the hope for this world that is so full of anger, division, mistrust and people who are so easily offended by everything except what offends you …help us to not be discouraged, but to remain faithful and to draw our strength from you…we thank you for being our rock, our fortress, our shield, our protector, our guiding light and our advocate and defender. Help us overcome evil with good. Heal us Lord, that we may be healed and so we can serve you well. Thank you for your assurance that you will provide for every need…we turn to you as The Way, The Truth and The Life and thank you for your light which is there to guide us no matter how dark the night, how uncertain the way, or how stormy the sea… no matter what we face, we know we can face tomorrow because Jesus lives! We are thankful we can come to you with our needs in the name of our risen King Jesus. Amen.
May you be encouraged today friends! He is on the throne and He is with you and for you!
