Daily Prayer For February 12, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
It is impossible for us to know this side of heaven all the answers that we seek… most things come down to our need to trust you for things we don’t yet understand….we must trust what we know of your character and what has been revealed to us through your Word… we must trust that You do everything carefully and with forethought… with wisdom and knowledge beyond anything we can comprehend…you are doing a new work in each of us as you heal, restore, stretch and refine us. You are strengthening us and changing us. As we die to our old man, there is new life being resurrected in us…we are diamonds in the rough and with each new trial that comes into our lives, you are introducing a new opportunity to know you better and to learn, grow and be made more like Jesus.
Where you are… there is beauty, order and peace …everything fades away in the light of your glory…everything becomes still and calm… chaos, uncertainty, worry, fear and anxiety fade away in your presence…These are the greatest gifts you give us in the midst of our trials and suffering…you are our sanctuary…our safe harbor in the storms…our refuge from the world…no matter where we find ourselves physically, we can enter into your presence…thank you so very much for making a way for us to experience glimpses of your glory and what heaven will be like…what a day it will be when we see you face to face and feel the fullness of your love, joy and peace.
May our hearts be at rest…may we be filled with excited anticipation to see you…like a bride and groom anxiously waiting for their wedding day so they can be together…may your fire burn within us…may our heart’s overflow with the knowledge that we are so deeply loved, adored and treasured by you… We give you our lives, our needs, our hopes and dreams. We ask that your will be done and that we would glorify you as we try to live our lives doing everything as unto you. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
