Daily Prayer For November 17, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, we want to thank you…thank you just for being who you are…thank you for your love…for caring for us and for seeing us through the hard stuff in life. So much that happens in life we are at a loss to understand. In our humanness, we often try to second guess you… to think that if we were in control, we would do things differently…but when it comes down to it, we wouldn’t want to deal with all the problems, complaints or responsibilities that you deal with. How great and awesome you are, that you can handle every problem in the world… that you hear every prayer… that you anticipate every need… that you love unconditionally, even when you are questioned, spurned, rejected and treated disrespectfully…you keep on loving and standing by with open arms…we don’t know how you do it all, Lord, but we are grateful that you don’t give up or turn away from us.
Father, we praise you for being the steady rock beneath our feet… especially when it feels like everything is unstable, crumbling and shifting around us… we thank you for the hope and stability you offer us…for the peace you give us in the midst of storms and change…thank you for all the things that you have seen us through… we are so grateful to have you watching over us…thankful that you see the bigger picture…thankful that you have a plan and a purpose for all we face and go through…
Lord, help us to have more faith… more patience… more understanding of your Word… more love in our hearts, towards others and you… help us to trust you more and worry less…help our conversations to be more pure and holy so they edify you…please renew a right spirit within us…help us to experience more of your joy and gladness…help us to be the men and women that you want us to be.
You are so worthy to be praised. May our first thoughts each morning be to praise you and the last thoughts at night be ones of thankfulness. We thank you for your mercy and grace and that we have a Savior in whose name we can pray. Amen
